Tasting food and wine is a passion for me and the quintessence of this is found at the annual High Museum Wine Auction held in Atlanta, GA every March. Vintners from around the world are represented along with top chefs from the southeast all impressing with their best tongue-tantalizing-tastes (try saying that three times fast). But truly this five-hour daytime event is centered around the wine and food tasting encompassing the first two hours followed by a three hour live auction making beaucoup money for The High offering a coterie of luxury events and trips starting from around $5,000 and selling for infinity and beyond. In its 25th year, the High Museum goes to great lengths to create a vibrant, social event with only the best of the best offerings in food, wine and auction items since all proceeds go to support their curatorial efforts.
